Lasso (Andrés Vicente Lazo Uslar) is a Venezuelan singer / composer.
== Early Days ==
Lasso was born in Caracas, Venezuela, South America, on February 18, 1988. Andrés Lasso studied at Colegio Jefferson and once he graduated he went to Universidad Metropolitana to study systems engineering. He dropped out engineering studies to continue his musical career.
He debuted into the music world at the age of 15 with a band called Punk Society. Even though the band had very young members, they opened for many important bands such as 3 Dueños, and the Mexican band Panda. They assisted to the famous Venezuelan rock festival "Nuevas Bandas" and won as best rock band.
Later, Andrés Lasso, had the chance to form Karnavali, which was chosen as the "revelation music band" by Los Amigos Invisibles at the Doritos Rock Festival 2008, and also, chosen as finalist to play at the Nuevas Bandas Festival 2008.
